Evening Aldi trek a longer way avoiding the potentially overgrown footpath for no path at all. A section of road only has a path at a higher level which is not much when you want to cross the road. A Jag slowed to jet me cross, I waved the driver on and who almost immediately set off a speed alert sign. Prat.
Aldi was like being back in the depths of lockdown. Last bag of Best of British apples, no shaving gel or foam and no eggs.
Chanced that the Co-op might be price matching on eggs, they apparently were but in fact were 10p cheaper.

Party 2 of 10 next door [for those unaware of my earlier post next door has a relative getting married in 9 day's time and there's a party every day/evening leading up to the all day wedding party]

There is currently a drumming troupe plus DJ playing Sufi dance music. It's LOUD !!! The party has spread and is also on the street.

I'm awaiting food ...

I have received my car insurance renewal reminder so I've checked last year's bank statement for August and it looks to have gone up around 12%. Lets see what the comparison companies come up with when they send me their annual prices. And then I'll input the same details again and get yet another load of prices. The good news is that checking the statement reminded me that I've got yet another saving bond interest payout coming mid month which will cover the insurance cost and leave a bit of fun money.

Quite a lot of thunder earlier his evening but most of the rain went to the north so i reckon that Ipswich got a good soaking.

I'm getting ready for a ride with my friends. Reduced pack as some peeps couldn't make it. Total of 3. The weather is a bit mixed with cloud and some blue sky. They have forecast showers.

Had cycling plan, route in the phone even.

Grismal here, now! Can't do anything bicycicular until after 1000.
Remember not to wear cycling top for the Zoom meeting.! Bit of a giveaway.

Sadly, 1000 is when rain is forecast to start. Quite disappointing.

Might just go out in the rain for a couple of hours.
