Been out for 25 miles with MrsFoE, a little loop to Almondell CP. MrsFoE was on a newly cleaned bike so in my route selection I was trying very hard to avoid any wet and muddy bits. Hard when the roads were still wet from yesterday’s showers. It wasn’t too bad in the end.

The K&A is probably where I cycle the most. Did the whole thing in three bits a while ago after dropping 4 digits on a XC MTB to do the bumpy half on. Did it west to east, Bristol to Trowbridge, Trowbridge to Hungerford then Hungerford to Reading. Bristol to Bath I did on the rail path as that bit of the canal is no longer with us. Most of the towpath beyond Devizes is unbearable on a bike without boingy bits!

Am I being too interesting?

No, but unless at least two of those digits are after the decimal point there may be some quiet tutting about spending way too much on a bike

Just back from a quick and rain free 50k. Coffee, shower and shave next in roughly that order.

a friend that lives in our town lost an orange cat 10 months ago. our patio cam picked up an orange cat just after midnight I think. will be interesting to hear from them, if it is theirs. this one has some distinctions
- white under chin
- thin black stripe on right front leg

regardless, this one appears quite healthy. after I saw this around 5am I went out back & called for "Joey" but no luck

I tried to enhance sharpness & contrast (so there's a weird outline)

Party 2 of 10 next door [for those unaware of my earlier post next door has a relative getting married in 9 day's time and there's a party every day/evening leading up to the all day wedding party]

There is currently a drumming troupe plus DJ playing Sufi dance music. It's LOUD !!! The party has spread and is also on the street.

I'm awaiting food ...

I don't know, but there's lights gone up all over today, with more food and some sort of entertainment set-up.

Some of the neighbours are not happy, given it went on well past 11pm last night.

Another day of warmer than predicted and none of the wet stuff that was predicted.
No change to prescription made at the hospital and given it was after 4 a choice of driving home and doing half a hours WAH or going to Sainsbury's. The latter won but stocks of some stuff their were poor aka Aldi yesterday.
