Having checked the cupboard, the week's shopping turned out to be a loaf of bread, half a dozen eggs and a block of salted butter. I did find a couple of things on yellow sticker to fill up the back pack a bit more...

This evening's hot chocolate has just been had.
Today's been much cooler & cloudier than recently which meant that once I'd got home from the shopping trip I couldn't be bothered to go out again and spent some time costing up the various advance price rail tickets for trips I've got in November and which are due for release in the next couple of weeks. This still left a bit of spending money from the savings interest payout fund, as a result of which I've got yet another night away to see a band booked in September.

Bins have been emptied, trucks have been driven, bikes have been ridden, cats have been fed, various hot and cold drinks consumed.

I am sitting here with bog roll jammed up my nose.
First day of the working week completed, and very stressful it was too. I sometimes wonder how I have ended up in this job.
We will be playing musical chairs at the office on Friday as we are being moved to a smaller office suite. Desk sharing will be necessary. My manager hinted she will let me stay at home permanently as my work at home contract is in progress anyway and it will simplify her seating plan to get rid of me.
Nice twenty mile single speed ride after work.
