Time for a ride

Morning.
I woke up thinking of that kid in the Fairy Liquid advert wanting to turn the bottle into a spacecraft. Don't be silly it looks nothing like a space rocket! The old cylindrical ones did! They looked like a Saturn 5.
Did our parents get a handbook when they got married to warn them about what was required in a home if they were to ever have children? Essential things like balls of string, candles, cotton reels, sellotape, lollypop sticks, rubber bands, glue! Who can lay their hands on such things?

I bet a lot of family homes are still not equipped with those kinds of things

Good morning all, a grey and damp start here, the greyness forecast to last all day. A NE breeze so max feels like temp of 13° this afternoon. A normal August day then.

Good morning from what was a bright & breezy Suffolk, but is now just breezy Suffolk. Coffee has been had, a load of washing is on the go and some tidying up has been done which makes it a busy morning for me.

There's nothing else that needs doing today, so a couple of hours out for fresh air & exercise will be had later on.

My wife just suddenly burst into tears! She just found out that a dog my daughter has taken on has had to go to the dogs home. The dog is an Alsation Husky cross and apparently bit a child. It was a dog that my wife got on with but our daughter has 2 young children so it could pose a problem even though it gets on with them really well.

Better being safe than sorry

As long as I breathe, I attack.
Video call in a little while for mini ck 1 with the clinical psychologists who are helping her but she doesn’t want to get out bed so i guess we will have to do it without her
TBH it might be best because it seems to us no matter how much we try to help she doesnt want to actually do anything to help her physical and mental health.
Commute will be in the car today as the meeting time means that i will not have time for dinner before i go unless i feel like riding with a bellyful .
