Today's outing was less than 30k, but nice
Well the flash showers were a bit of a pain, but it didn't kill me.

Evening cuppa went down well with a chocolate digestive
Another horrible wet day. I was lucky enough to get my morning perambulation in between the showers. It was hard going back to work again after a few days off. One of our big chiefs is there in person all week so thankfully I am no longer in the office so don't need to concern myself with him.
Did some grocery shopping after work and got a few things on yellow sticker.
Opera has updated and I see Windows is updating now too.
Now just catching up on some writing as it's too wet for a ride.

It's been a bright and breezy day here chez Casa Reynard, and we largely dodged the showers.
I slept well and overslept somewhat. The morning was spent doing the chores that I didn't do yesterday, plus I had to re-jig my apple store to accommodate what I picked on Saturday. All the fruit was checked at the same time, and some damaged ones were pulled out. They will be heading towards a crumble.
Lovely luncheon of bread & butter, marinated anchovies, an apple and a
Spent most of the afternoon making apple & greengage jam. After that, I popped out to the community orchard to pick blackberries. I probably ate as many as I picked, because they are bloody lovely. A portion of those will be joining the aforementioned apples in a crumble. I'll be going back later in the week with a step ladder, as there is so much fruit that I can't reach. I plan on freezing a few tubs' worth (about a kilo in total) to use for puddings and preserves at a later date.
Blueberry pancakes for supper.

I have hung some washing out and then spent some time removing glue from some dent puller tabs. That was a fiddly job.

We went out to get the washing in as the sky looked dark. As we started to get the washing in a light shower of heavy rain started. It might have just lasted less than a minute but each droplet seemed like a bucket of water as we got soaked!

Home this afternoon with 5 minuted to spare before a heavy rain shower. Emptied & restocked/topped up (as appropriate) the overnight bag and checked whether the duvet had dried while I was away. As it had, the last of a pack of sausage rolls was put in the air fryer to cook while I got on with changing the bedding.
Sweet FA has been done since other than an unexpected snooze being had. Normally around now I'd be making or drinking a hot chocolate, but having had two with breakfast and one at the station I think I've exceeded my quote of added sugar for the next few days so will give it a miss this time.

morning chore was to clean out the exterior a/c compressor. cut the power, removed a cpl panels & lifted the fan assembly. shop vacc'd a good amount of pine needles. no "nest" was found, only an electrocuted mouse on top of the electrical capacitor (not pictured). yeah don't touch the red & black connectors simultaneously kiddo
