One other thing from the shopping trip this afternoon - why do manufacturers use identical packaging for different products? I very nearly purchased two packs of coffee beans rather than ground coffee because the only difference was the wording in a small panel.

A very grey and occasionally wet afternoon and evening have been spent doing very little apart from comparing Chromebook & (basic) laptop options as I have a Chromebook that is getting slow and very temperamental. I'll see how the finances look towards the end of the month.

It's about time for the evening's hot chocolate.

seriously? wow? I'd have given them a chance to reconsider & share it on their own. Won't you feel foolish if they decide to do that, says I've had a change of heart, opens it, & sees what has been done? It will only justify further cruelty.

This is obviously a person who has established such behavior as a norm in the office. Think Alec Baldwin in Glen Garry, Glen Ross. There may be another example playing itself out on the National Stage. I would not hold my breath waiting for a change in behavior, unless it were for some self serving ends.
