One other thing from the shopping trip this afternoon - why do manufacturers use identical packaging for different products? I very nearly purchased two packs of coffee beans rather than ground coffee because the only difference was the wording in a small panel.

A very grey and occasionally wet afternoon and evening have been spent doing very little apart from comparing Chromebook & (basic) laptop options as I have a Chromebook that is getting slow and very temperamental. I'll see how the finances look towards the end of the month.

It's about time for the evening's hot chocolate.

seriously? wow? I'd have given them a chance to reconsider & share it on their own. Won't you feel foolish if they decide to do that, says I've had a change of heart, opens it, & sees what has been done? It will only justify further cruelty.

This is obviously a person who has established such behavior as a norm in the office. Think Alec Baldwin in Glen Garry, Glen Ross. There may be another example playing itself out on the National Stage. I would not hold my breath waiting for a change in behavior, unless it were for some self serving ends.

Another mundane day at work completed. Another day of sunshine and showers.

My first night back at my dance class since before the summer. It was nice to see some people I hadn't seen in ages. I went for a drink with a friend afterwards.

Good morning all, cool and windy with showers today. Looks much the same for the forseeable. Starting to dig out the spring/autumn cycling kit.

The weather keeps changing , one minute it is blue sky and the next tall stormy clouds.
Seeing the Range Rovers driving Prince Harry around has made me realize that the black ones I met storming towards me down a narrow lane might have had Queen Camilla onboard. How did I known at the time? The first one just steamed past me like an icebreaker but the second one at least waved.

On my 3rd cuppa already. Up at 5am to drop my Mrs off at the airport for a flight to Inverness where she's off on a 'swimming' holiday. Swimming with Nessie tomorrow (literally).

I'm tired. Was even outside McD's 20 minutes before it opened as I was soo tired. Nearly thought about driving back home and getting the bike out to ride to work, but couldn't be bothered so was in the office by 7am.
