Ride done, 40 miles in my own little sunshine pocket. As I got to the 'bottom' of my loop, I could see the clouds rolling in over Congleton, so turned towards Macclesfield. On leaving the town I could see a huge black wall of cloud over Manchester, and the 'tower blocks' were hidden in rain. Fortunately, I only hit wet roads about 2 miles from home, and still in my little sunshine pocket.
Enjoyed a little ride from Linlithgow this morning, mostly dry and very pleasant. This afternoon has been spent catching up on Quebec, the mtb Worlds, and now the Vuelta. Will start fast forwarding soon.
I went out for a ride this afternoon and got wet just after I had set off. I continued on my ride despite being wet, I wasn't going to let it stop me. I could have done without the muddy roads though. I popped over to show my brother my new bike.
I didn't like a stupid car driver in a red car who refused to pull over and slow down as they headed straight towards me on a narrow lane. I had to quickly pull over to the side of the road out of his/her way. I wish I had my camera on my bike.
