It's been a mild but very blustery day here chez Casa Reynard, overcast to start with, but then the clouds blew away and it was a lovely sunny afternoon.

Slept well. No further rear end explosions. Decided to have a "me" day for a change. So went foraging this morning in the company of Rocky the Hardtail. Came back with a small tub of blackberries and half a carrier bag of walnuts. Of the latter, they're starting to drop, so Walnut Season is Open! It was our usual postie (a big unit of a Jamaican fella) doing the round today - he spotted me and stopped for a brief chat. He's ever so lovely, though I suspect he gets a bit of grief from some of the gammons who live around here.

Lovely luncheon of a chunk of tiger baguette filled with sliced chicken, a banana and a :cuppa:

Went out after to run some errands for the parental. Stopped off at the Co-op on the way home and picked up a baguette and two pints of milk on YS, which means I don't have to go into town tomorrow.

Then, another visit to a different nearby foraging spot yielded some more walnuts.

Cooked fish (seabass) and chips for supper, this being accompanied by some tomatoes from the garden.

Watched West Ham ladies v Arsenal ladies.

A quiet evening is now planned. Another :cuppa: would be rather welcome.

Good morning from a dull & overcast Suffolk. A small coffee has just been finished and I'm about to nuke a bowl of porridge for breakfast. Once that's been eaten a flask of coffee will be made, the food & drink packed into a small cool bag and then I'm off to Silverstone for the weekend for the return of international sportscar racing - the Michelin Le Mans Cup this afternoon and the ELMS 4 hours on Sunday.
