We've got British level rain for the next three days. Lots of model making today methinks.

We picked some last week and they were only very small so Ian believe it, down to the lack of rain??

I was hearing the same on Scotland Outdoors last week, about barley rather than conkers. The rain came too late in the summer so the grains haven’t got to the required size for malting. Means that they are having to go for feed or just chucked.

Good morning from a 4th floor hotel room in Nottingham. Coffee has been had to kick start my system after a very good evening.

The sun is out, the skies are blue and it's time to head into town for breakfast and then on to the train station for the trip home (normal route, not the longer one today).

Refreshing the MOT checker web site to see when the Aygo fails the MOT - already told them the exhaust flange on the cat is corroded badly (found it yesterday) so hopefully any other 'faults', if there are any, can be booked in for a fix. Looks like it will be a new cat for the Aygo, as the exhaust manifold and cat is one piece. Shame it's gone for such a small part failing.
