Good morning from a currently sunny Suffolk. The overnight bag has been placed by the front door ready for today's outing to Nottingham.

Coffee has been had and a load of washing is currently being dealt with by the machine. Next up is a change of bedding and then the non-recycling bin will be moved to the front of the house ready for emptying on Monday. Then it's just a matter of faffing around until it's time to head to the train station.

They were just talking about blood coming on the TV just now. I used to give blood but can't anymore due to being on blood thinners and having had a transfusion. Our blood coming sessions used to be held in our town hall but later moved to our Olympiad who used to charge the Blood Transfusion Service for the use of the hall which I thought was disgusting! We were giving our blood for free so we expected them to as well.

Super typhoon Ragasa. It'll make a direct hit on HK Tuesday night into Wednesday. Expected max wind speeds of 195kph.

I think a bike ride's out of the question and my swim meet's been cancelled. I'll be stocking up on the essentials. Tea, bread, alcohol, chocolate you know, the important stuff. ^_^

Glad I checked my ticket for today's trip as I'd forgotten that it's a different route today. Rather than the usual home - Ipswich - Peterborough - Nottingham, it's home - Ipswich - Ely - Leicester - Nottingham.

Ah the long way round.

Sunny here so two wash loads hung out then car to Sainsbury's and Waitrose. Apart from the slow crawl from Sainsbury's to the next set of lights traffic was not too bad. Disappointed to note a road on the cycle route to Waitrose had only been patched in some places and hence remains a cycling obstacle course.
Found Waitrose do a reduced sugar marmalade so that will oftset having muesli with around twice a much.
