A mild, occasionally sunny albeit very blustery day here chez Casa Reynard.
Slept well. This morning was spent in the company of a friend and her dogs, walking around the community orchard and local nature reserve. We normally meet up Wednesdays, but she's been invited to a Cake Day do. We just had a good chinwag and set the world to rights, and the doggos enjoyed the gravy bones that Auntie Reynard keeps in her pockets.

This afternoon was a gardening afternoon. The dead branch that got detached from my curly willow is now cut up into sections and safely in the garage out of the weather. Much more wood there than I originally thought. And the ivy clippings have been dumped on one of my "small wood" heaps among the trees - those get inhabited by things like hedgehogs and interesting insects. I prefer biodiversity over neatness.
Have also made arrangements to be interviewed by a couple of potential candidates for the position of Chief SuPURRvisor at the weekend. The cats are local to me, so worth a try.
