Time for the evening's hot chocolate and yet another aspirin for the cold. Hopefully over the worst of it as the coughing fits have mostly subsided and the nose is running more like a stream than a river.

Lovely supper of soup, then gammon, gravy, roasties and steamed savoy cabbage. 
A bit of a change in the weather today, suddenly more winter like. Pretty cold and breezy all day.
I made it to the shop and back after work in the dry and was half thinking about a bike ride but when I looked out a little while later, it was pouring rain.
I tidied up my bedroom instead.
I had planned to make a large pot of vegetable soup, like I often do at this time of the year, but there were no leeks, carrots and only a few very knackered looking onions.
The boyracers are very active tonight.
