I left the Czech patient at a garage after work, ready for them to investigate the emission issue in the morning. I had the Brompton in the boot and enjoyed the seven mile ride home despite a mix of wind, rain, hail, and snow and temperatures probably not much above freezing. I had dressed for it and was perfectly cosy whilst doing a Michelin Man impression!
Riding a bike is more fun than driving, even in inclement weather.
I feel Skoda should supply a free Brompton with every car so you can get home from the garage every time it needs repairing!

Blummin cat is crazy. Keeps going out into the cat run to 'inspect' the weather - it's blowing a gale and sleeting. He does look like a Yeti though.

I do that as a matter of course if I have to drop the car off at the garage in the village. I think I'm the only customer that does it, much to the amusement of the mechanics, but it's so much easier than either a) walking home or b) cadging a lift

Same here. Had 8 so far, still have 4. Nutters the lot. Although, Leo the short haired ginger isn't going out - way to cold, it's mainly the two white Yetis, not the grey Yeti (Ragdolls for those that don't know). The white ones have some extra bonkers genes. Been out 3 or 4 times in the last hour.
