Back to wet and windy and looks set to continue for a while.
Good job I got out for a trike run yesterday and also got a bit of gardening done so my front bit of garden looks a bit less untidy.
Slept better than usual after the hard exercise.
Need to go and make some bread now.

Second cuppa went down well

Not a cloud in the sky but minus 1.6C when I got up.
The menace of electronics disturbed my breakfast.
An alarm started to give 4 or 5 loud beeps and then silence for about 30 seconds and repeat.
Isolated it to the living room but nothing obvious. There is no smoke so started with the CO alarm. Not that.
Check every electronic thing but cannot get up high enough to take down fire alarm but does not sound like it.
After checking everything else I home in on the indoor/outdoor temperature device as the only thing left.
That is the source but why as as it has not been touched for a couple of weeks when I put in new batteries?
It was so loud and my hearing is a bit compromised so it was difficult to tell where the sound was coming from. It seemed to fill the whole room.
This does illustrate a problem with us ancients. I could not get up high enough on a ladder to reach the ceiling mounted fire alarm and any neighbours I could have called on for assistance have gone off to work. Not a real emergency but certainly an inconvenience and nobody to give assistance in this kind of incident.

Our disabled neighbour had a problem with her smoke alarm one night & couldn't silence it. It was only when I walked the dog past that anyone noticed.

My neighbour could not silence his low battery alerting smoke alarm so instead of just disturbing me he put in his shed ! Resolved the matter by acquiring it and smashing it with hammer.

At the last minute tea time yesterday i decided to cut the lawn.So finishing off a great day gardening.Oh i am so pleased i did, it is chucking it down here in Meanwood Leeds.mind you everything is getting a wash and all looks great.We are just wasting time before we go out for a church meeting Mrs P has volunteered to be the head of the welcome team at church.This includes me.So we are going to find out our roles.i hope mine is a chocolate Swiss one.I cant be serious if i tried.
