Matthew 25 v 21

Hows it feel to be patronised in that pompous and self gratifying way ?

I may have just agreed to buy a vintage bike

It's red.

It was made locally in Leeds.

It's 531 Competition framed.

It needs a bit of work.

And I may be too short for it. Again. Oh, for being the height of a squirrel

More to follow in the 'What have you bought for the bike today?' thread and in the Vintage & Classic Bikes sub-forum when I collect in a few days' time.

Turned into a lovely sunny day again by midday so up to my top shed/workshop and did some clearing out of rubbish which I will no doubt need next week.
Sat in the sun for a rest and fell asleep but wakened by some bird which makes a racket nearby. Cannot see where it is but certainly not far. Sounds like it is copying a traditional parrot with "who's a pretty boy then" and some other phrases.
This morning earlier I noticed the ravens have started their tumbling flight again and in the afternoon idly looking up there was a bird which was probably a sea eagle passing.
The advice is to look up as far as you can and then a bit further if you want to see them as they fly much higher than other birds.

I have also accomplished a great deal of grass cutting. Also mowed the daffodil / narcissi green. I'd rather not have done, but looking at the forecast for the next week, by the time it dries out again, the nettles that are coming up through them will be shoulder high.

Your shoulders or a normal sized person? Xx
