Could be therapeutic.

True, but this is where working close to home can cause problems. if I meet a client this point may be lost on them; all they'll see is a Supervisor going out for a jolly when they're supposed to be too ill to work, and given that we are of necessity very strict with our clients on such things, it's better not to cause the problem in the first place.

Good morning all from a bright & sunny (for a change) Suffolk. Half way through the first cuppa of the day and will be shortly heading out for day 2 of the BTCC meeting at Snetterton. A very good day was had yesterday in the sunshine, but there was a very stiff breeze which meant that spectating from my favourite spot on the back straight banking was distinctly :cold::cold:

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
Having washed the cars yesterday evening - a large bug had been stuck on the Honda CRV's front camera which was causing it's electronic warning systems to panic, another day looms ...

This morning I'm time-trialling near Selby, then off to watch son no. 2 at the BUCS road race (universities' national road cycling championships) followed by an evening meal out with SWMBO.

Back after a gentle 35 miles in sunny conditions with a slight breeze.
I even found a new to me stretch of road between two villages that I didn't know existed and I have been riding locally for 10+ years but just thought each end was a dead end.
First cuppa going down well

I've been riding the local roads for over thirty years and still haven't ridden all of them, I don't think we ever do.

Sun is making an appearance and forecast to be a nice day so may get out for a trike run later tho' my right knee is acting up.
It will hopefully respond to some exercise.
I notice on FB that our postal service has made the Observer with some of the usual guff.
There apparently are new vans in Oban but now nobody to drive them. I got a mail delivery yesterday for the first time in a couple of weeks. Turned out to be all junk advertising but it keeps the posties in a job.
The hospitals here seem a bit disconnected somehow. Some departments phone to make a provisional appointment but others just send out a letter. Next week's appointment was only a letter with no phone call but the previous one from a different department was a phone call followed by a confirmatory letter.
