Up early to take SWMBO to the train station as she's off to London for some health conferencey thing or another.

Garden's been watered.. Just the hanging baskets at the front to do but they're in the shade until lunchtime.
I didn't do it last night so I thought I'd best be done before it gets too hot 💦

Nice early 22 miles completed in glorious conditions although I must admit it did feel a bit cooler today but still early.

First cuppa going down well.

Black general waste bin is kerbside.

Garden birds have been fed.

Average chain length is 120 links,
120 links equals 60",
When converted to feet is five foot,
There are 66 feet in a Chain,
There are 80 Chains in a mile,
This gives you 16 chains per Chain
Or, 1056 chains per mile.

I think you misunderstood what I meant, but if there are 120 links and I have to remove 4 then after 30 chains I should be able to make a new one from the spares.

Morning.
I'll get up and do some washing up in a couple of minutes.
We went to Pennsylvania yesterday and didn't have our passports!

Still the same heat and sunshine.
Looking out my car has vanished but the guy who took it left his own but a bit far away from my space so potential for a bit of chaos later when a neighbour comes back. Fortunately we are all fairly organised and do not take up spaces known to be used by others here but strangers can be a problem.
With no transport as the trike is in the car I will have to get out and do a bit of tidying up on my front path. The remains of the bluebells are a bit unsightly and brambles, ivy and bishopweed are getting too prominent.

The dustbin men will no doubt add to the traffic. The driver usually reverses all the way up this cul de sac. They may have to collect up all the bins and move them half way up the street. Fortunately we have very helpful and friendly bin men, who seem to like a challenge.

Last time the bin lorry could not get all the way down mine due to parked vehicles they moved the bins up the street and left them there out of my sight. Thought they had taken it away until a neighbour pointed out where it was.

I have to cook low salt because of mum's meds. I've found that if you use enough other flavourings, you don't really need as much salt on stuff anyways.

as we look at the sodium content of things now, it's just amazing how high some items are
