I signed up for Face Ache mainly to see if any of my old cycling mates ,work colleagues ,school friends were still around.Only people who wanted to be friends were relatives who I see on fairly regular basis or wwe contact each by message.Nothing from my past.

Cycling friends from Loughborough section CTC have probably gone to the great bike shed in the sky. When I joined aged 15 I was the youngest member

It’s quite possible that school mates either aren’t on Facebook or have passed on.

Decided not to continue with Face book as requests to be friends I had. No idea who they are

Finishing up a very hectic week here. Made apple and rhubarb crumble, which we had with the left over almond ice cream from Lidl. :hungry: I have traded in Mr Hebe’s old kindle and am now waiting impatiently to see which new ones will be reduced for Prime day next week.

Sun reappeared after the rain.

Transpired that Sainsbury's would be shut for five days rather than the four days of the Great Yorkshire Show that they have to close for. Even more time for them to rearrange the store - mental note give an extra half hour next time to find stuff.

Another ebiked trip therefore made for another 90p 2 pints of milk which somehow saw a further £17.48 spent.

Was a rather quieter ride than the last two as I had my elderly Tenn longer length baggy cycling shorts on; the new pair of normal length ones are rather crisp and make a noticeable rustling noise cycling which a few washes should soon mitigate.

A late morning shopping trip on the 29er and what a hot & humid ride that was. I couldn't face going back out in that to see mum later in the afternoon, so I made a quick booking at the recycling centre to drop off the grass clippings and some old bike parts and had a drive in the car with the air con turned to maximum coldness.

Today's campervan/motorhome count on Felixstowe seafront - 24 confirmed, another 2 or 3 possible vans being used as temporary campervans and one small car & caravan combination.

I purchased one of the newer touchscreen Kindles a couple of years ago, but soon went back to my older 4th Generation one as, in use, I found the forward/back buttons on the side easier for page turning. Just in case I also nabbed a couple of really good used ones cheap on ebay.
