I've been sent to Coventry.. Again..

Someone hit the Holyhead road bridge the other day, no serious damage done to wagon or bridge, though it did cause traffic queues.

Eek! I just came on here to investigate Thompson bikes! I hired a tiny Thompson Maestro carbon road bike today here in Malaga. My first carbon ride ever and my word it was amazing. Climbed like I’ve never climbed before. Flew up the mountain. Amazing!

Can you get Thompson bikes in the UK? I can’t find any/many dealers.

Not any more I'm afraid, although I've been in contact with the importer and parts plus some bikes are still available. Blame Brexit.

OK, what happened here this morning - did @classic33 get too close to the data cables with his scythe? I went to log on only to be greeted by one of those Cloudflare 502 error messages and no Cyclechat so I had to get up and do some domestics.

It's been a bit breezy but quite warm and sunny so I got quite a lot done today - vacuumed the carpets, cleaned the bath & toilet, cleaned & lubed the chains on 5 bikes and give the frames & wheels a quick wipe down, mopped the kitchen floor and then cleaned all the inside windows and the ground floor outside ones while waiting for the kitchen floor to dry before cooking tea.

That now gives me a free weekend to do absolutely nothing.

I have the smaller 2.4(?) watt one and may upgrade to that one.

Checked battery voltage this afternoon and it’s increased since I last checked. Car actually gets a run tomorrow as I have an audax event. I’ll check rested battery voltage on Sunday, then check a few days later but so far so good.
