I've just caught Madam Poppy trying to steal the chicken bones that I'd left in a sieve to drip out over the pot of stock. Fortunately a) I saw her go into the kitchen and sidle innocently up to the pan and b) there was a lid on top of the whole shebang because I *know* that I can't trust the terrible twosome

Bones are now in the fire, and I have a very peeved tortie giving me the evil eye

big brunch for Wifey's birthday is shaping up for tomorrow. the kids & their "others" (so 6 of "us") PLUS a whole other family of 4 (that makes 10)! at least I don't have to pay for those 4, but our 6, I do! Wifey promises to pitch in $$, I sure hope so

It’s so tempting. I just need to make sure that everyone else in the Hebe household is happy to do their own ironing from here on in.

If you threw snowballs at my parents' Alsatian, he would catch them in his mouth and eat them every time.

I never saw a dog with such a great ability to catch things.

I threw one for Georgie the other day and he caught it in his paws. He loved playing in the snow .
