It's all gone grey and breezy again down here in Suffolkshire. I think a lazy day is in the offering.

Not that breezy yet, washing out in the hope, but cold despite apparently being 8 degrees in the air. A clear lack of latent heat from the ground due to its cold damp condition. Apparently that should be 84 watts per square metre. Had one of those back yard mysteries, a yellow plastic clothes peg broke into three parts, can only find two

I've just watched my grandson play a semi-final game of football. His team lost. Jude seemed to spend so much time finding space for himself that the ball couldn't find him.

Anyhow, It. Didn't. Rain!

Went to Pillings Lock Marina for breakfast It’s on the canal/River s Soar at Quorn . It must be three years since I have been that way.It was quite a small marina then Now it’s obviously been developed. It’s huge

A colleague moored their narrow boar there ‘must be about thirteen years
ago .The marina then only had moorings for thirty boats

I got to the tip on my third attempt of the last fortnight. The sunnies that I thought I'd lost at a gig last August turned up on the parcel shelf of the car. Cunningly disguised in their black case on the black tray. The boot's been opened at least 100 times since that gig. 🤨 And yet today was the day when the sunnies slid out of their dark corner.
In other news, there was a lovely black step through bike parked at Lidl, with swept back bars and a brown Brooks saddle.
