Decent coffee out of the pod machine this morning, unlike yesterdays where I did not realise a used pod was still in it and took it be a new one xx( Currently blue sky outside with fluffy white clouds but I bet if I open the bike shed door...

Don’t worry your not alone.Did it myself a day ago.Started the pod machine hadn’t put a pod in.I often forget to check if there’s enough water in the tank. Of course this never happens when Mrs p makes my coffee 😊😊😊

A mild day here chez Casa Reynard - sunny earlier, but have reverted to the usual greyness in the last hour or so.

Slept ok-ish. Some very strange dreams, can't remember anything other than that they were strange. Had a quiet morning, and am now listening to Arsenal v Palace. Had a cheese & onion toastie, a tangerine and two :cuppa: for luncheon. There were nine pips in my tangerine.

Parental unit got two books on WW2 for Mother's Day - she's already curled up in an armchair with one of them. I got two lovely vintage watches and some money. My main pressie - well we know what's happened with that. Hey ho.

Almost cake-cutting time. Lemon & lime deluge. :hungry:

Will drop off a slice in a bit for a friend. And some doggy treats, as I share my cake day with one of her Schnauzers and her other Schnauzer has his cake day on Tuesday.

I've tidied part of the parts shed and, as a result, have photographed a load of parts plus two bikes (the DBS Winner and my Harry Quinn) to be listed on eBay later this week.

The self-conclusion is I  do seem to end up with an accumulation of unwanted junk.

Stayed dry all morning but light rain started by afternoon which was fortunate as I went to collect my trike from it's shelter for the past week and got it in the car dry.
Got some more experimental modifications to my storage set up for it in the car also while still dry.

Near Oban there is a popular forest walk area which is also on the main cyclepath and I have used it sometimes.
Apparently a notice has appeared from the local council saying car parking charges will apply from April 1st. I wonder if the date has any significance as I thought this area was Forestry controlled.

Bikes/bike parts = junk?

Leftover parts, yes, and I've been slowly upgrading our road/TT/track bikes so don't need lower-grade replacements I've kept.

The two bikes have been restored - the Harry Quinn a couple of years ago and the DBS earlier this year. I'm really struggling for storage space so need to make space by selling any bikes that either won't fit me or I just won't be riding any time soon.

The Barron TT bike will also be going as it's too big for me plus the Peugeot 531 triathlon bike I don't use. The Dawes Giro will need to be stripped and sold as my Raleigh SP Race is going on the smart turbo instead. It'll be "n-5 then review".
