This was in the World Championship race at Arlington in '88, the culmination of a season-ling feud between Roy Eaton (one of Derek Warwick's brothers-in-law) and Rob Perry. Eaton (#17) got his revenge the year after at Wisbech, mind you...

See at school, when we did either table tennis or badminton in P.E., I was often told to go and practice with hitting the ball/shuttlecock off the wall and trying to keep it bouncing with the paddle or racket.

In every occasion, that wall won!

When you can barely catch anything, that you were picked last for everything, same with football and the foot eye coordination... Oh and NEVER put me in goal!

When one of your highest achievements in P.E. was nearly scoring a goal in Hockey, I said 'nearly'... Then, THEN, you had bad hand eye coordination! 😆

They wouldn't let me play hockey again, after the first time. Not even in goal.

When the injured had to be carried back into the changing room(no walking wounded), they'd to do something. I think it were six from the first, and only lesson in which I was allowed to play in.

Getting fed up of weekend working was one of the reasons I took partial retirement last year and I don't miss it one bit.
