Morning.
It is grey here but dry .
I had a good ride with my friends in the sunshine yesterday. We did 14 miles. I was fine until later in the afternoon when I was trying to mow our lawn . It was more like combing as my wife told me to put it on its highest setting. I struggled to do it . I felt completely exhausted. It wasn't until later that I went down with a snotty cold !

No wind so far today but rain falling pretty steadily.
I booked a ferry trip for next Wednesday and now notice that on that day gales are forecast. Made the mistake of getting the tickets rather than leaving them in the system to make last minute changes possible if any spaces are available then.
Why do I keep making complications by making wrong decisions?
There is the possibility of travelling by a different route but that could at best be an extra 70 miles and two ferries or 100 miles and one ferry. No booking needed but everybody else displaced will have the same idea. Everybody rushing to make the next ferry and make up for lost time so I always think this is a dangerous road.
Not as bad as the A85 where there have been several fatal accidents very recently.
