i was going to do a Reynard yellow stickering but that was knocked on the head as there was plenty of stuff which is unusual when I am in Tesco but I cannot get home now till Sunday.
I was sedated for my endoscopy today which invalidates my car insurance for 24 hours. The only Saturday ferry booking I could get would be 2250 which means getting home well after midnight. I used to get this ferry when young and fit but not nowadays.
By spinning a sob story I managed to get a booking mid afternoon Sunday. There are no foot passenger bookings left for Friday. In the past pre touroid we could rely on travelling when we wanted on foot or bike. It hits those with onward train or bus connections particularly hard.
Life here is getting more and more frustrating.

After a lot of faffing managed to get one of this morning pics on the iPad.
Ben Cruachan and Loch Etive plus of course the important foreground.

Tomorrow is the day the world turns a full circle (for me at least). Tickets go on sale for The Sisters of Mercy at Rock City in Nottingham. I last saw them live on March 11th 2020 at the same venue with what I maintain was a severe cold. Five days later Boris announced travel restrictions and we went into the first lockdown seven days after that.

Mesdames Poppy & Lexi had some salmon too, and the rest of the side is slowly being turned into gravlax. Oh, and a friend took two portions of it as well.

There's still enough baked salmon for another meal.
