I commented the other day we had a lot of feathers around just found a stiff bald pigeon under the wegila bush

We had a lot of feathers by the back fence the other day, when I went into the entry a few days later there was a well eaten ex pigeon on the floor the other side of the fence, I suspect one of the local cats got lucky and caught the bird by suprise.

Warm and mostly sunny here chez Casa Reynard.
Slept well. Spent the morning watching some snooker and rounding up stuff I will need for tomorrow, all that's left is to give my white coat a bit of an iron. It's made from cotton drill fabric, which is tough and hard-wearing, but has a horrible tendency to crease.
I will need to take a mop and bucket to the car this afternoon, as the jackdaws nesting nearby have shat all over it. They produce a surprising amount of poo.
Madam Lexi has brought me another rat, albeit somewhat smaller than the one she presented me with the other day.
I think I will go and do that bit of ironing now, as the snooker has just finished, and we're still 45 mins away from the sprint race. And it's just a smidgin too early for luncheon.
