2 tentacles were inside the sucky end but the rest wouldn't fit so it was saved!

That what was always thought but now it's been shown they do see colours just not same shade and intensity as us. Yellow and blue they have no problem with but Red, green and orange are less clear.
They are however way better at night , low light vision than us, more sensitive to changes in motion and have a way better almost panoramic 240 degree peripheral vision.

My final year, final semester undergraduate students are currently in the early part of a 24-hour exam which started at 10am this morning. I'm running the support process until 5pm today, then from 8.30 tomorrow morning.

Most of the 145 have at least accessed the exam paper. However, around 20 have decided they don't need the 3 1/2 hours they've lost to date and are fine. Looking at most of their access online / attendance records I tend to disagree

Edited: almost 6 hours in and 7 students still haven't accessed it ...

One year we had a lad who use to have a power nap for the 1st hour and still finished his exams on time.
We only had one late coming this morning, he was well within the allowed time so he got his extra time.
We did have one not turn up at all and one just filled in the front and then wrote noting else.
As it's 24 hours do students with access arrangements that are given extra time still get it ?
I assume it's more a timed unseen project sort of thing than a normal question paper type exam ?

Cats are much the same @Andy in Germany - only their vision is more acute than dogs. They can see in almost complete darkness, although their vision is at its peak when it's crepuscular. They do have the same trade-off when it comes to colour vision - red and green is largely monochrome.

Cat toys its the same thing. Mostly to appeal to us cat slaves, while a cat likes nothing better than a scrunched up bit of paper or an old shoe lace LOL. Although Jingly Mouse and Knitted Snakey are very popular here.

Speaking of, I haven't seen Snakey in a few days. I bet he is somewhere under an item of furniture.

It's a normal type exam but as they're final year undergraduates the questions are more complex. Unfortunately one student has completely ignored all the directions I gave in writing and in person and has swamped the group chat they have with students believing him rather than me. My time has been taken up with his 'rumours' which, given he never actually attended anything, they've been advised to ignore.

Students who have an identified learning difference such as Dyslexia have been given 50% additional time, so 36 hours.

Always one who everyone else follow regardless of how wrong.
50% that's a good amount GCSE max is 25% but most get 10%
