Light wind and light rain which is the best we are likely to get for some time according to forecasts.

The sheep and lambs have gone from the field opposite. Probably eaten all the grass so moved on.
I think they are just hobby sheep and there were a few here who kept sheep but have no land of their own and graze them where they can.
In the past the road verge was favourite and was called "the lang park". Nowadays the council just scalp the verges.

I notice no sand martins or swallows this year near here and in the evening even the bats have deserted. There used to be lots of all of those a few years ago.

Cloudy with a bit of very light drizzle accompanied the ebiked trip to Waitrose this morning.
Decided last night my ability to misplace keys needed resolving so ordered a set of four key tags with Bluetooth connectivity in them off Amazon. Went for free non Prime postage. They reckon Tuesday delivery, I'm thinking they will turn up before then based on previous free deliveries. The last Amazon delivery, albeit not an Amazon order, I got successive app messages on Wednesday saying delivery on Friday and then out for delivery today.

ok we have the car available for you to look at, but it's priced to sell!

car salesmen really don't have any new lines, do they?

what a rust bucket! the first tip off was a sizable spot of rust in the spare tire well. hmmm, let's look underneath to see where that is coming from. yikes! that's a NOPE! but yeah definitely call me again when you have a hot item that will sell quickly. yikes even the wheel brake dust covers were all rotted & not entirely intact. "well it passed inspection" good grief, get another inspector

Back, only 20 miles but first half was hilly. Strong wind. Bit of gravel at the start, bit of off road in the middle, but mainly tarmac. Nearly got wiped out by a granny turning right at a junction. I was shifting and I expected a car to creep out. Yup it did.

Massive amount of brake judder with the CX bike's cantis on emergency braking.

We have a field that joins the corner of our garden that frequently has up to 30 sheep. They generally look in poor condition or are clearly from different flocks. A couple of weeks ago we also had some lambs, they've all gone now. I suspect they're stock for butchering.

Morning.
I went out for a ride with my friends last night . My friend seemed to have chosen the most uppiest route possible ! I think it must have been going uphill for 3/4 of the ride . I was getting a tad peed off! We stopped off at the White Horse in Biddestone for a couple of drinks before a nice freewheel back home . We did 16 miles.

I've had that happen. It's usually preceded by someone saying "The usual way is too hilly, I've found a short cut..."
