Just 33 miles for me, but more than happy with that these days. At least the humidity doesn't feel as bad on the bike.

Rain battering my front windows but may clear up later.
There is a Clan MacLean gathering on this weekend but mainly down at Duart Castle about 25 miles away tho' some of them are up here.
Lots of expats.
There are several different spellings of that name and not all are friendly together. Ancient myths surface.
We get a laugh at the strange costumes some wear which bear no relation to anything.

Good morning all from a hot, sunny & humid Suffolk. First cuppa of the day drunk and breakfast (2 custard cream biscuits) consumed. There's a load of washing on the go at the moment which should be finished by the time I get home as I need to pop out and get something for today's main meal.

Other than that, I think it's the perfect weather for a very slow day.

I was talking to the lady next door this morning and she asked if we'd sorted our back door as the lock was jamming. I told her that I'd got it working properly.
She suggested that I squirt some UB40 in it. Not sure Ali Campbell will be happy with that

Race crewing this morning. Son no. 2's racing in Wakefield - he's in green/white helmet on the blue Ridley.

Very warm and humid here so the 30+ mph start lap won't last.

Back home van unpacked and washer on.
Journey home made all the better for an up close view of a redkite. First circling low over head then swooping right down in front of us. Making passers to fly off with some road kill. Being that bit higher in the van meant the view was prefect.
