Anyways, had a fabulous supper of tomahawk steak (medium rare, closer to the latter), a jacket potato with the pan juices, a tomato salad and steamed kale with garlic butter.

The girls had a wee bit of the steak too. There's still loads left, which will do for a few more meals and a sandwich or three...

I thought I was just being excluded !

Morning.
It is grey here this morning.
We went to the seaside yesterday. It was a bit of a quick decision the night before. We went to Christchurch and then Hengistbury Head.
We did a bit of shopping in the market before going to Hengistbury. It rained several times whilst we were there but not too much. What we noticed on the sand looked strange! Where the raindrops had landed there were either little circular craters or small circular mounds. We worked out that the crater's were caused by the impact of the raindrop but wondered if the mound was caused by the sand absorbing the water and swelling up . It looked very strange seeing all of the sand covered in small dots .

That was shocking news on GMB a little while ago about Vaping! Young children damaging their lungs seriously by inhaling them .
My dad died from cancer caused by smoking but he was in his late 60's after decades of smoking.
How come there isn't tougher legislation?

Who's going to enforce the tough legislation? A lot of the current legislation doesn't get enforced.

Rain battering off my front windows again this morning and forecast to continue all day.

The latest thing on our local FB is the problem of EV cars charging using extension leads from domestic sockets. Your insurance is invalid if there is an incident caused by this.
Touroid of course think they are entitled to do whatever they want and much wailing and gnashing of teeth from the holiday home brigade and B&B lot.

Going out shortly as I have an appointment with a sharp needle at the surgery.

Constant drizzle, the sort that doesn't look much but quickly soaks. Very wet brolly from a 1.2 mile walk upwards by 130ft, back from the car repair garage.

Another Amazon delivery anticipated unexpectedly. Ordered protective covers for the keyring Bluetooth things (having separately taken up the makers offer on a couple more), a High 5 tube and a pair of nail brushes last night on whenever postage and for some reason they they are delivering the nail brushes today as a free priority delivery. Unlike most which seem to fall apart or wear down rapidly these, Hydrea London, ones seem to last for ages but figured one in the bathroom and not just the kitchen would be an idea but they only seem to sold in pairs.
