There are certain items of equipment that require a competent person on site who can fix them. Printer, copier & coffee machine are among them.

Put another way:
"Does it have pedals?"
"No"
"Then it's not my problem."

Got back from a road bike ride this afternoon https://www.cyclechat.net/threads/your-ride-today.173254/post-7010929 to find postie had delivered the two extra bluetooth key ring thingys so that the front door key I use when walking and the ebike inbuilt lock/battery removal key so equipped. The latter may rattle so may need further thought as it can only be removed from the ebike with the lock activated. Postie had also delivered a pair of brand new fully tagged and labelled baggy Tenn cycling shorts I had found on eBay for a tenner (plus postage)

Another 25 miles on the single speed. Nice evening despite the forecast being for rain.

The council have been busy ruining another of my routes by putting loose chippings on top of a perfectly good road surface. Nice to see them spending my money wisely.

I know how that feels our way the council in lockdown went tar spay mad on roads i have to use to get home after a ride. Forever having to clean down the bike after I got home, best bit was they just tar spayed over a pot hole filling it with chippings. Lucky for me I know the exact place so could avoid it. For someone else not in the know it was pot luck.

Errands erranded. I now have both milk and bread that are not in danger of developing language skills. Also lucked out on sticker, picking up plaice fillets, two pieces of cheese, potatoes, a basil plant, two bags of brioche buns, and, in the damaged goods bin, a dented tin of tomatoes, two dented tins of black beans, two tubs of olives, a box of breakfast cereal and a jar of Dijon mustard.

There was a large (squashed) bucket of Whole Earth peanut butter. Would've taken it if it wasn't crunchy peanut butter. Me no likely crunchy peanut butter.

Sausage sandwich, fruit and a :cuppa: for supper.
