Dull outside but no rain yet. Bread maker in use and less than 2 pints of milk in the fridge leading to a pondering of how many to buy from Sainsbury's today @£1 Nectar price given I have a 50p off coupon to use tomorrow at Waitrose. Seems Amazon are delivering me some items today from their Leeds depot and another package from their Pontefract depot all now from Leeds.

Our recycling bins are outside waiting to be collected . I just went out to see if any had been emptied but they hadn't. I discovered that there is some light drizzle in the air . I have also just read our meters.

DOH!
Last night I went round the house emptying all of the rubbish bins into a bag and put the bag in with the kitchen rubbish .
This morning I put all of our bins out .
My wife has just told me that I forgot to put the kitchen waste bag in the bin !

Payday, so cat food order in with Zoo Plus ! 240 packs of Felix AGAIL for £72 (£12 per 40). Not too bad as it was £40 for 120 last month. Went to Iceland Warehouse this week, which is usually cheap for cat food, blooming £18 for 40. I did pick up a 6kg bag of dried food from Iceland though ! These creatures don't half eat, but it's Felix or nothing with these fussy beggars.

I use Zooplus too but I like to feed the grain free, high meat content foods so a tad expensive, but she’s worth it. 😸

Cool, blustery, overcast and humid here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept OK-ish. Have had a bit of a kitchen morning, and tonight's supper is now simmering away in the crock pot. I have used up the VERY dented can of tomatoes I bought for 22p yesterday - and good job I opened it inside a plastic bag. I also turned the pack of four "finest" burgers I bought on Sunday for £1.03 into meatballs. Also lobbed in two YS onions plus a load of herbs and a bay leaf from the garden. Looking forward to that.

Mesdames Poppy & Lexi sampled some of the beef and declared it "good to go"

I am not needed to steward at tomorrow's cat show in Moulton, so I shall have a nice relaxing day instead.

Anyways, it is time for luncheon.
