I am going to have a shower in the new shower. Please note that I will be unaccompanied.
No strange men... this time!

I forgot to mention the scaffolders making lots of thumpitty bumps and drilling, yesterday afternoon. This was accompanied by lots of shouting from people on the ground to people on the roof.

One of of the main prerquisites of being a scaffolder is being able to shout extremely loudly.

Add to this that one of the ways to relax would be to have a hot shower, no chance of that when there was not a working shower in the house!

Excessive unusual noise can affect anyone. About eight years ago pile driving was undertaken in the office car park in preparation for a new building and by 4pm my head was bouncing so I went home only to discover the firm that were replacing my gutters and bargeboards that day had only just turned up...

Resolution to this mornings pondering was just 2 x 2 pints of milk bought. A really miserable evening so the ebike had another Friday off and the car sort of paid for it's use with £57 being spent in Sainsburys and Lidl.

Aye the nights are fair drawin in. I had to put my lights on to get breakfast this morning.
Wouldn't that be the mornings are drawing in, if you need the lights on to get your breakfast?

Lovely day today - a morning pootle to get the food in for the weekend followed by a fast, wind assisted ride up to Beccles for outdoor beer & food, then a train ride home again. Mostly sunny and warm, but waiting for the local train at Ipswich and then the short ride to home it did get a bit breezy and relatively chilly.

As long as I get going in time on Saturday morning, the plan is to head down to Brands Hatch for a bit of mixed classic & modern racing with some Supertourers thrown in.
