Cat food order didn't turn up, no idea where it is. Fitted two blinds, took anniversary present round to brother and made spag bol for tea (multi-tasking). Cut some bushes down and collected strawberries. Managed to cut thumbr on sharp edge of greenhouse, then drilled another finger by accident. Fair bit of blood letting today. MrsF harvested raspberries so we now have loads of strawbery jam and raspberry jam.

Brother has got to have some investigations for blood in his poop. Had xray this week, but was due for a camera today, but it got cancelled after he had taken the laxatives. Poor man. Fed up as he had to starve yesterday, so given up and gone out for a meal. Possibly due in again next week.

Weather forecast looks good for some early morning miles
Bit late in the day for "some early morning miles" now!

Got outbid on a lovely 1950s Longines watch I liked the look of. No great disaster; I don't mind doing my homework and then paying a fair price, but I refuse to get sucked into a bidding frenzy. At least I now know what reference to look for, and so I can keep an eye out elsewhere.

TBH, wasn't expecting to win, as there were far too many people sniffing around the lot. It's a seller with a massive following that I usually tend to avoid, because their auctions inevitably end up in bunfights that drive up the price unnecessarily. From their perspective, they have a business model that works, but as a buyer, it kind of puts you off.

I need a :cuppa: after that.

Any ex-Derek Warwick cars there today? Hope you're having fun xxx
A very good day thank you.
Nothing of his on track - a Cleland liveried Vauxhall was the nearest they had on track or in the display area. However, they did have...

and

amongst those on display.

Edited to add - I'd forgotten how good the Ford Mondeo and Mazda 323 V6s of that era sounded on track

Glad you had a good one. Those machines still look damn good nearly 30 years on, don't they? :becool:

Speaking of John Cleland, I picked up this recently to add to my collection of stuff:
