I’m going out to polish my condor and think about what pedal system I want to use with it.

Why would you polish your pipe tobacco?

First working day of the week completed without issue. Only 3 more to go this week.

Had an eventful day on the washing front. My washing line broke under load earlier so I had to fix that. Then it began raining just before I finished work for the day but I hadn't noticed so the washing got wet again.

I've also lit the blue touch paper with the builder by sending him the letter my solicitor dictated. I sent it recorded delivery so I'll know he's got it (or that the postman has signed it!). He was here today but I didn't bother going to speak to him to him as he'd only tell me to **** off again. He brought a painter to paint the ceiling for the guy downstairs where the leak had been. Basically, they just touched up a little bit with paint that didn't even match and made it look a complete mess but that is all he is going to do apparently.

Went for a 20 miler, enjoying the daylight despite the rain. Almost collided with a King Charles (Spaniel, not the monarch) when it ran out of someone's garden.

I ended up going to Diss to start today's ride, but I may just as well have gone to Cambridge as the accident was mostly clear by the time I would have got there. By contrast the main road through Diss (A1066) and the approach road I use from Stuston whiuch filters onto it were jammed solid by a set of 3-way temporary traffic lights set up by Anglian water doing some repairs about 50-100 yards up a side road.

Other than that it was at least dry and not too windy, however the sun seemed reluctant to make an apparance. Although I've got a few saved routes for the area, I decided just to make it up on the go and ended up not getting lost which is always a bonus.

We've taken pity on him and let him in for some food and shelter for the night. Tomorrow try to reunite him with his people, he's very friendly and gorgeous.

I'd get in touch with a local vet, who can scan him for a chip. Also, your local branch of CP should have someone dealing with Lost & Found cats. Failing that, if you're stuck trying to find his Humans, I know a lot of Siamese people through the cat fancy, and they've got a good grapevine.

What colour is he, btw?
