Afternoon.
It was a bit grey here but it has brightened up a bit.
I've been given my orders to cut the lawn. I may try to get out on my bike .
I've had to alter the tense of my post. I somehow didn't post it this morning. I have mowed the lawn. It is a struggle getting it in and out of the greenhouse. I had a rest after that . I am now watching Countdown.

SWMBO's been put on a plane to No'rn Irn due to family reasons. Hopefully it'll all get sorted but we're now parenting our parents.

Son no. 2's arrived just after she left with broken bikes and to prepare for tomorrow's 400km audax across north Wales.

Unfortunately quite major reasons - my mother-in-law's been in hospital and has been moved into a specialist care home. It's in a nice location though, but SWMBO will have an idea for how long since she's one of the few end-of-life specialists in her profession. I can see her needing to back over a lot in the next few months sadly.

Fees for repairs / time / pinching my new wheelset? Probably the same "look after me when I'm older" bill that's been totting up since he was born.

On the positive side IME you will find people being more helpful; self service cafe staff becoming attendants, check out operators even in Aldi and Lidl packing your bag for you etc.

Cloudy snd cold today but no rain.
Got the ICE trike out of the car and up to indoor storage while it is dry as the next week looks a bit unsettled and I do not want to put in while wet. Car needs to be emptied before I go off to get the Kett. back.
The job was not too hard as it is light with no motor unlike the other one which is a heavy brute.

Noticed three masts passing into the bay but cannot see anything else from my house. (Holiday home again blocking my view).
Took a trip further down and it is massive with by the looks of it with it,s motorised tender. Picture is not my best and should really have used a camera rather than phone.
When I stopped to take the photo a local car stopped to enquire if I was ok as without a stick I am a bit unstable.
