Long trousers back on because it's a bit cooler today. Grandson has his last football match of the season today so I might go and heckle from the sideline. They came first in their league without actually playing a lot. A few of the other teams cancelled their fixtures against them, happy to take a default 3 - 0 defeat (I think that's how no shows are dealt with) rather than actually risk playing and doing worse.

And the team for the city I was born in also came top of their league though they left it late, being particularly incapable of travelling south for an early start. It was only in the 90+2 minute that they managed to take the lead.

Good morning from a mostly cloudy and breezy Suffolk. A late first coffee of the day has only just been finished.

It's the Ipswich-Felixstowe classic vehicle run today with all the participants parking up for display on the prom in the afternoon. My plan is to walk into town as they pass, then along the prom looking at the vehicles and home via Lidl to get something for tea.

Shoulder a bit knackered after yesterday's gardening. Will leave the ride today but might just get the camping gear sorted for Thursday as I'm in the office till Weds night.

Was thinking of using the ebike but the clouds looked over meanancing.
Car to Asda which turned out to be a good choice as I found a lightweight navy jacket. My old one has had a partially torn pocket for ages. Then yesterday I caught it on a door handle and it acquired a seriously torn pocket.
Thence to Waitrose as originally intended to use the three of the weeks app vouchers and this week they did have the free store newspaper.
Started lightly raining until I got home when it was heavier.

Dunno what it's like outside, so other than saying it's blustery and overcast, no weather report from Casa Reynard today.

Slept reasonably well, but I am still in tea deficit from yesterday, and if you're all wondering what that squeaking noise is, that's my hips and lower back. I think I need some GT 85. I think that yesterday, including three Best of Variety (the equivalent of the group stage in dog shows), my judge and I handled north of fifty cats. You know you've had a busy day when your bottle of hand gel is empty...

Plan on having a quiet day today - watching the snooker and the Formula E, and then listening to the F1 later. Watching the highlights will depend on what happens in the race.

Am currently working on reducing my tea deficit.
