It stayed mostly dry but it's really hot and humid. I have a headache and blocked sinuses that seems to accompany this type of weather for me.

Seems a very long week and it's still only Tuesday! Work very busy at the moment. Too busy really. My head is fried.

I did some shopping on the way home. How come I always manage to join the slowest queue at the checkout? The one where someone has to run out to the car for their wallet.

I trimmed the low-hanging branches on the tree that hang over my washing line and done some other tidying up of my back yard before the vegetation takes it over! I hope to get it concreted and build my eagerly awaited shed at some point in the not too distant future.

A very sedentary afternoon of radio, TV, reading and a short nap thanks to the grotty weather. Quite chilly as well so the bacon rolls for tea were most welcome. Now for this evening's hot chocolate.

Had a fabby supper of leek, stilton and sage quiche, buttered new potatoes and a Waldorf salad.

Madam Lexi had Felix AGAIL with salmon.

It has been raining here for most of the day.
I've spent most of the day either sleeping or dashing off to the little room. I haven't had prunes tonight.

Morning. Sunshine and storm clouds here. The cars are damp.

Station bike to the LBS, first thing. Sort the gears, please. Mostly for visitors, but I find it a nice ride. The absence of battery support might temper my enthusiasm for using it.
Then neighbour to the vet means the car is not available, until noon.
Tidying garage is this morning's euphemism.
Then, subject to car availability, p.m. off to Vanessa and restore her rear view. Is that enough innuendo?

We'll, it's good to have a plan.

The reality went off piste a bit.

The wiring of the camera was totally chaotic. Cable is 50cm too short. Tried all sorts of possibilities. No result.

I was just wondering if the old hairdressers Inthe 60's ran a tool hire business on the side as they seemed to ask the older men if they would like something for the weekend?
Bike, lawnmower, step ladder?
They were usually given small packets! Probably Aspirin?
