Good morning from a disappointingly grey and cloudy Suffolk. Coffee has been had and a load of towels are being dealt with by the washing machine.
A quick shopping trip will need to be done this morning for food & travel snacks for Sunday's away day leaving the afternoon free for a few hours of fresh air on the bike.
I have remembered to get sausages out of the freezer for tonight.

Weather a bit on the inclement side this morning. Wind and rain. I had thought about a wee weekend cycling/camping trip for the long weekend. Pleased now I heeded the weather forecast.

Mid-perambulation and just after finishing my breakfast. It was on a round plate this morning. A stray mushroom had found it's way into the middle of the little bowl of beans.

I must go and tidy up my flat now.

Butter is reasonably tolerant to temperature so usually there's not much need to refrigerate it. Errr, except yesterday, too warm, picked it up, squishy. Put it in fridge, used some this morning...no, it's gone very slightly rancid, binned it.

Meant to be sunniet later.
One wash load hung out then ebike to Lidl for a free bag of apples while the second load was washing. ☕ then that to hang out.

I have no bread - well, apart from the green stuff I just binned. But I'm waiting for a delivery so I can't go out to get any decent stuff. So, breakfast without bread for me this morning. Scrambled eggs and Bockwurst?

Cleared my adopted runner bean bed and planted 6 plants so will see if my daughter waters them or not.

Why do people advertise things for sale and then not bother to reply.

Car to Sainsbury's only to find the reduced prices on freefrom had ended. Less than £10 spent as a result
Then to Waitose - free store newspaper, £1 off hake and their coffee ice cream for £2.02 rather than £4.40.
Slightly fraut as I could not find the main set of car keys which include front and back doors and side gate. Tile app is cheerfully telling me it knows where they are and keeps on finding them but is refusing to offer to ring them. Meanwhile the front door key that I used is apparently in town. Useless app.
Lawns cut and a climbing hydrangea cut back from clambering too far up the wall.

So far today my phone has:

Failed to run an ID test for reasons unknown, meaning I have to get a document posted to my home address instead of sent as a PDF

Randomly decided the SIM card isn't working so refuses to connect to the Internet.

And people wonder why I won't load anything like train tickets onto the thing?

Sim card tray removed, Sim card missing.

Now I don't know if the card is jammed inside, and I'm about to get some very important calls next week, and so I need a functioning phone. I can't risk having to wait, so just in case, I've had to order a replacement phone.
