My work's sent out a security e-mail stating that they'll be running a series of dodgy e-mails to check whether we flag them correctly.

So I flagged the security e-mail as being dodgy

As a result the series of dodgy e-mails, presumably being sent from the same e-mail account, haven't arrived.

Did you reply to all? I remember an email that was sent out by IT, which a few people [replied to all], at which a number of other people likewise [replied to all] requesting people not to reply to all. The fallout continued for some time.

Truly awful morning here. I have decided to work from home rather than go out and get soaked walking to work.

It takes forever for my work laptop to connect to the VPN since the Win11 upgrade. Everyone else has this problem too. Bring back Win10!

My sinuses are really playing up this morning too.

I'm on a university external examiners vacancy group and the number of members who do this in applying for a role is ridiculous. Their CV and personal details get sent out, with a subsequent series of reply-all messages from various members telling them. This includes unsubscribe requests when that information is at the bottom of every message.

And yes, you would think intelligent individuals could follow basic processes.

Good morning from a cloudy and very breezy Suffolk. Don't think the rain's far off so I'll probably get the clippers out for the needed hair cut as I'm not going anywhere for a while.
Coffee has been had while I perused the range of easy access savings after yet another month of zero return from ERNIE.
