Whilst in the kitchen eating brekky this early a.m., noticed a fox in the garden eating monkey nuts from the squirrel stash - !
Half a hour later there was another fox AND a muntjac deer within about a metre of each other both browsing on the fallen bird nuts & seeds that had fallen from the feeders on the tree - ! ^_^

Wednesday almost completed and weather a huge improvement on yesterday. Working in the office today. I actually dread going as I don't see why I need to be there and it's so noisy and distracting. I'll have to go tomorrow too I suppose.

The big excitement is that I will be getting a new door access card. Mine expired in 2020, but I hadn't been in the office until recently. It still works! I suppose I'll have to have a new photo taken.

I've been to my Wednesday dance class.

Time to relax for a bit before going to bed.

Too much time was spent this afternoon trying to co-ordinate a band's tour dates with hotel availablility & cost, train times and my existing bookings that I started to confuse myself. I think I have worked out when & where I'm going when the tickets go on sale on Friday.

I have also received the funds from my cashed in Premium Bonds, opened a new savings account and transferred the money to stop myself spending it.

I'm nearly up.

Morning.
It was raining earlier but has eased off now.
Yesterday's ride was a bit of a marathon for me. I ended up doing 23 miles which wasn't good after over a week of recovering. Normally I wouldn't have minded but a mention of the distance beforehand would have been good. That way anyone could have pulled out beforehand.
I was surprised that my rear managed to cope with sitting on the saddle after last week.
I think in future we will have to discuss the route beforehand. They know that one route most of my bikes aren't suitable, they are road bikes with narrow tyres. I have to dig out a sturdier bike. Also riding through a flooded road on a bike without mudguards isn't nice because someone has chosen the wrong route. Most of my routes from home have had to fit into time constraints so I pick a casual 12 miler with a stop for tea. One hill with a lovely long bobsleigh run down to the halfway tea stop.
