A day of doing very little...
Rode round to see dad - he was out so I rode home the scenic route
Vegetated in front of the TV for a couple of hours.
Went out for another hour's bike pootle
Sat in the back garden with a magazine & the radio for an hour
Had tea followed by a large bowl of ice cream
Vegetated in front of the TV since then.
I think it's time for a cold beer as a reward for my exertions.

This bit of filling just fell off 😔 one of my teeth

Having only seen dentists examine people with tooth problems at the bike co-op, I have little knowledge of your situation there, but it appears to be root canal time. We have 2 dentists and several academics in the bike co-op, so many problems can be solved. I haven't been there for some time. My foot issues do not allow me to stand long enough to work on a bicycle in the shop.

4 of 5 butterflies survived the chrysalis stage to butterfly in the grandkids Insect Lore butterfly kits. They released them today after allowing them to crawl over their hands, girls squealing with delight.

It's veered from 'can we keep them till we see mummy and show her?
Errr no, lovely thought but that's days after they're supposed to be released...

'Can we let them go now then ?'
Errr you're not supposed to till day after tomorrow

Good morning from warm and mostly sunny Suffolk. Coffee has been had with the background sounds of the non-recycling bins being emptied.
The last of the milk has been used on this morning's breakfast, so I think the shopping trip for some more will be used as an excuse to get out and have a decent ride.

You could reinstate the Suffolk stage of the Milk Race. (For those who still have a vague recollection of the Milk Marketing Board's sponsorship of the tour of Britain.)

The Cafe must be newish cos it wasn't there last time I went*. I always preferred the 'Old John' entrance cos it's wilder and the walk up to the 'Old John' folly and across to the War Memorial is gorgeous.

*is the Cafe up by 'Lady Jane Greys' house ?
