Boiled. WFH today.

Need to pop in the garage to get the camping gear out at lunch and load up the van. Last minute dash to Wales for Saturday night. Hoping we can get to Llyn Padarn on Sunday as the A55 is 'problematic' at Conwy Tunnel due to a fire yesterday.

Twix ☕'s today ebike had a visit to a set of town centre bike stands. Being a Friday it seemed to be busy at nearly every junction, but then having to cross the southbound A61 to access the bike stands the road was for once deserted.
M&S Gift voucher used a touch more on Cheese and Onion Rolls.
Returned home with a soggy t shirt.

That wasn't as painful on the wallet as I expected. The first gig is a Sunday night one so cheap hotel night at under £40 with breakfast and Trainline came up with a good split ticket train cost. Then for the second booking it turns out I've accumulated enough points with Ibis for a decent discount so midweek booking for under £22 and a 'Spoons across the road for breakfast.

Once the domestics have been completed, I'm going to use the ebike for a (hopefully) less sweaty pootle into town for some milk.

Probably similar tomorrow as I'll be at work until lunchtime/early afternoon.

Have been out for a ride with MrsFoE. The Roseburn path down to the coast then followed the coast through Dalmeny and South Queensferry, a loop of Hopetoun, back to S Queensferry for sandwich and an ice cream, then the railway path to Newbridge and the canal back from Ratho. 36 miles mostly offroad. Quite cool at the coast, only started to notice the warmth in the last few miles as we climbed from the canal.
