I was really impressed with this model steam ship and saw it sail. The same guy has made models of Waverley and a few others as well.

Had a fabby day stewarding at the Kensington & Herts joint shows in Ware. Hall was stupid sh*t hot, and as a result, it was rather boil-in-the-bag. Still, handled some lovely cats - mainly Russians and Burmese.

Had some chips and a :cuppa: for supper.

A quiet evening is planned.

I must check the 'bay of e. I put a bid on something for my collection last night before I went to bed because the auction finished while I was at the show. I normally prefer waiting right till the end, but not an option this time.

I'm heading off to bed as I'm struggling to stay awake.

Nunnight one and all xxx :hello:

Morning.
We are back from our holiday up in Yorkshire looking for Penguins. Well they are black and white and float. It is amazing how they manage to flying and perch on the chalk cliffs.
The first day was up to SIL to break up the journey and have a rest, we then set off the next day for Flamborough. Monday evening we went out for a walk from the caravan site to the coast to look for the birds. We saw lots of birds floating in the sea and loads of them perched on the cliffs but not the ones we were looking for. We found a Kestrel nest which had 4 chicks in it. They were in a nest in a gulley in a cliff which was visible from a pathway. We eventually spotted 4 of the elusive Puffins which we had come to see. They were hidden in amongst loads of other black and white birds floating in the sea. I soon noticed that they were dumpier and had a white head. So we were happy to have seen at least some.
The next evening we popped down to a local beach which we had passed the previous night. We were casually watching the House Martins flying around popping in and out of cracks in the cliffs when Panic! There's a Puffin! Perched a hundred yards away on the cliff. Whilst I was trying to draw my wife's attention to it she had spotted another one 100 feet away. We spent an hour or so taking pictures and watching them flying in and out. It is amazing how they sort of crash dive and just level out about a foot above the water. We must have seen more than a dozen in that area. We were happy to have seen them up close.
