Grumblin at Garmin on the Granny Gear
On my way home from visiting the kiddies I felt peckish so popped into the local chippy..
£3 for a bag and they were bl00dy 'orrible!

Had pretty awful fish & chips from Trencher's in Whitby. Fish overcooked & dry.

Good morning from a grey, wet and cool Suffolk where there's been quite a bit of rain this morning that wasn't on the weather forecast.
Coffee and a custard cream biscuit have been had.
Once I've finally made the effort and got going, this morning will be mostly pottering about the house followed by a trip into town to get some food for this evening and the travel snacks for Wednesday's away day. It's a new destination & venue to me, so I'll also need to go onto Streetview this evening for the train station - pub for lunch - hotel - venue - hotel walking route.

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
A bit of a challenging week to date with a very poorly moggy, a gas repairer who damaged new plaster whilst fitting replacement heating controls then condemned the gas fire. Plus I got sent to the eye hospital urgently by my optician, with the hospital then turning me away stating they'll triage me at some point in the future.

Just an quick lunch of beetroot, cucumber, tomato, a slice of ham, black olives and a cuppa.
Petrol unsurprisingly went up 3p a litre yesterday or overnight ...

Strange thing happened round our way this morning..
A couple of neighbours who like to win the 'Who can get their bins out first' competition had put the wrong ones out for tomorrow's collection!
I knew they were wrong as I'm Bin Monitor in our house but checked the Council website just to be 100% certain.
MrsPete popped round to inform them of their error.
Gratitude was expressed 🤗
