Sadly the poorly cat died yesterday - he'd been struggling for some time and had reached 15 despite living mostly outside. I sat with him at the end whilst he was in his favourite place in the garden. Despite being a very grumpy Manx he'll be missed.
Erm ... beer in a hospital?
And, having picked up the Clements project last week, I'm (hopefully) picking up something needing even more work this weekend. This one's already partly dismantled and, if the seatpost moves, I've got a proper project on probably combining components from both.
joking about the beer of course. got her home, made her a sandwich & went out for ice cream for her. she's couched w/ her hand elevated waiting for numbness to go away
so sorry to hear about your cat. great lifespan for one that was mostly outside. we've had cats that stopped moving but didn't pass away. we had to take them in to be euthanized. with one, she played with an outdoor lawn sprinkler the day before she passed. I've stayed with most of them. comforting for them I guess. always horrible for me. they are so innocent & live so simply. amazing how humans become so emotionally attached. I guess we can't help it. here's wishing you strength right now & nothing but good memories. you're not alone
