Do peeps find that there aren't many decent peeps on FB Marketplace. I have met a few decent ones but a lot now seem to be righb*5t**ds !
Actually, I just had a splendid FB Marketplace interaction and bought a nice basic Dahon folder to get me from the parking deck in to work. Nice person, truly. Bicycle could use some work, but priced accordingly. Usually people do not even answer i.m.s on Facebook, just ghost you if they have already sold it. And those who have something different like that usually want a premium.

Out at 8, back by 10 as it was getting warm, and busy on the trails. Just 20 miles on gravel, testing out the new Selle Italia SLR saddle on the CX bike (Banana Industries sale - super light saddles - got one already on the best bike). Slightly sore left sit bone (the one I broke) but OK later on in the ride.

Planned coffee hut stop didn't happen as it looks like it's closed on a Sunday. Only opened last month (it's on a bridleway at the top of a hill). Carried on and saw a canal boat doing coffee for £2 but looked like they were setting up. £2 coffee says instant though.

Another ridiculously hot day where I've done basically nothing. :heat: Go outside and you're met with a sough of hot air.

There's a reason why I don't go on sun holidays!

Volunteering duties at the theatre tonight. I'm really looking forward to the show, but I hope there's air con in the auditorium (been there many times and never really noticed, but these last few days have been ridiculously hot 🥵).

It's been a grey day here chez Casa Reynard, felt cool, but app on laptop still saying 25C.

Sleep was middling, but I did have a lie in. Other than a bit of gentle puttering around putting last night's shopping away, I have had a "sat down" day. Have watched Formula E, cycling and tennis, and have also listened to some cricket.

I've also been updating the photo catalogue for my archive - 1988, 1989, 1990 and 1991 are all updated, but the account for slightly less than half of the photos, as most are from 1986 and 1987. The two outliers are one from 1978 and one from 1984.
