I also find I resort to flat roof meteorology first thing in the morning. I've just driven back from Bristol so my weather report is that it's now dry if it was otherwise this morning. There was a single 20 yard shower near Reading with no evident cloud responsible. No idea....

Badly positioned or wind affected water cannon in a field? There's been enough of them round here this year.

Another means of reporting the weather is black car meteorology.

Mine got couple of isolated spots cleaned of bird droppings this evening while the rest looks in need of a wash
Leave it long enough and it becomes a 1970s car - beige.

My blood is starting to boil !
I just wanted to ask the seller of some bike parts I ordered if he knows where my parts are. They might be still in the post but I just wanted reassurance from him and could he ask the courier where it was. It used to be quite simple but the bay have completely screwed it up! The seller used some new system that the bay have come up with where you can't ask a direct question. I have given the bay the feedback which they deserve. Useless! What also annoys me is that now I have had to pay a certain percentage of the price for buyer protection! Well I don't feel very protected!

Another day of mundanity almost completed.

Very hot day. The weird thing about my company's office is that the warmer it gets outside, the colder it gets inside, and vice versa in winter. They seem to overdo the heating/aircon. So on hot days like today, you'd almost need a coat inside and when there is snow, it is like a tropical heat. Don't they know what a thermostat is?

A nice twenty miles on single speed after work tonight again. A lot of traffic considering I was riding in minor roads.

I've just watered my plants.
