Someones switched the excess heat off. Shorts abandoned at lunchtime for jeans
For some reason theres a 10 degree disagreement between the humity controller and the temperature / humity sensor / in house display for in the bike shed. Assuming its the sensor. Sun suddenly trying to make an appearance.

It's been a grey and cool-feeling day here chez Casa Reynard, but car thermometer says 23C

Slept well, but I don't half feel grotty today. Itchy eyes, streaming nose, sneezing and running a slight temp. Did a covid test, but that has come up negative. Using bog roll to mop my nose, as it's the cheapest option.

Despite that, have been busy. Laundered the last lot of dust sheets, did some more tidying up in the garage, have turned a load of tired-looking and damaged apples into a batch of apple butter (it's almost done cooking) and went out to do some errands for the parental.

And I've finished chapter 28 of my novel. That was aided by moving the last couple of paragraphs / bits of dialogue into the next chapter and giving it a more logical end point. Am breathing a sigh of relief, as it was a difficult chapter to write from an emotional standpoint.

Just seen a post from the local MP, apparently Army Expo 2025 is taking place at one of the local barracks for the next few days, showcasing the Army to senior decision makers and influencers. Presumably explains all the air activity this afternoon.

Sun didn't last. The cooler weather has seen the birds scoffing the seeds far quicker than when it hot.
Ebike made a visit to Lidls cycling stands where two others were occupied, one a small e-cargo bike. App discounts on honey and walnuts used.
Elemnt Bolt still problematic. Faulty update according to dcrainmaker affecting Roam 1s as well so it looks like a search for a Garmin mount for the ebike.

I think it helps that it is now slightly cooler, especially at night. Blood test tomorrow and Hopsital appointments on Wednesday and Friday.

A huge rift has opened up between certain members of the group. Someone else is carrying on an affair behind another persons back and Martians have landed and put in a bid for a Premier League football club. So not a lot really!
